ZeroNote is locked
Only your passcode opens your notes.
Try it: tap a note, the filters or the lock.
The Zero Promise
Some thoughts aren’t meant for the cloud. That’s why ZeroNote is built on five zeros.
Zero cloud
Your notes never leave your device.
Zero internet
ZeroNote doesn’t even ask for network permission. It can’t send anything anywhere.
Zero accounts
No email, no sign-up, no data about you.
Zero tracking
No analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs.
Zero access for us
We can’t read your notes, recover them or hand them over. Only your passcode opens them.
One honest note: because nothing is stored anywhere else, a forgotten passcode can’t be reset. Not by us, not by anyone. That’s the point.
Features
Simple, and only yours
Everything you need to write. Nothing that reaches out.
Encrypted and locked
Notes are stored encrypted in the app’s private storage. Open them with your passcode, or with Face ID or your fingerprint if you like.
Works without internet
On a plane, underground or in Airplane Mode, it works the same. Nothing to sync, nothing to wait for.

Privacy
Don’t trust. Verify.
Privacy promises are easy to make. ZeroNote’s are easy to check: the app has no internet permission, and both stores list it as collecting no data.
No network permission
Check the app permissions on the store listing or in your device settings. There is no internet access to grant.
No data collected
Apple’s App Privacy label says “Data Not Collected”. Google Play’s Data safety section says no data is collected or shared.
Nothing for us to hand over
We never receive your notes, so we can’t read, recover or disclose them.
Not in cloud backups
Your notes are not included in automatic iOS or Android cloud backups.

Does ZeroNote need an internet connection?
No. ZeroNote doesn’t even request network permission, so it can’t send or receive anything over any network. It works the same in Airplane Mode.
Can you read my notes?
No. Your notes are stored encrypted in the app’s private storage on your device. We never receive a copy, so we can’t read, recover or hand them over to anyone.
What happens if I forget my passcode?
Because nothing is stored anywhere else, a forgotten passcode can’t be reset. Not by us, not by anyone. That’s the point, so please keep your passcode somewhere safe.
Are my notes backed up or synced?
No. There is no sync, and your notes are not included in automatic iOS or Android cloud backups. They exist only on the device where you wrote them.
Is there a subscription?
No. ZeroNote is a paid app with a one-time price and no in-app purchases. You pay once in the App Store or on Google Play.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 26.0 or later, and Android phones through Google Play.
